KIN-NAKA

A former prestigious restaurant

The once flourishing “downtown” of Inami.
KIN-NAKA was the most prestigious of
the 15 traditional Japanese restaurants that lined these streets.
Surviving the many historic fires that spread through the area over the years,
this classic establishment has been newly renovated in the modern era of Reiwa.
In collaboration with woodcarver Daichi Maekawa,
we have adopted the essence of its dramatic history
and added various features throughout the villa
so that guests can bask in the luster of history
while fully experiencing the beauty of modern craftwork.
