Inami is well-known as the best wood carving town in Japan, and many artisanal masters involved in wood and woodcarving live around the area. On this course, you are invited to cycle around the town and interact with the local masters of wood, including the rare and precious wood supplier who is an absolute connoisseur of wood, a shop specializing in carving tools, and the studio of a contemporary woodcarver. ”Experiences” are interwoven into the tour along the way to make you feel like a real artisan yourself.
